Freeride Raises Cashout Minimum

May 3, 2008 · 0 comments

In an email to members yesterday, Freeride.com announced that it would be eliminating all $10 gift cards from their redemption catalog, “due to rising costs.” The lowest cashout available is now a $15 GC, for 18,500 tokens. Members will have to “ride” a little longer before they can redeem their points, it appears. You can click Continue Reading to view Freeride’s email.
p.s. NetWinner, take notes — this is how it’s supposed to be done. ;)

Attention Freeriders: Please Review the Following Gift Card Changes.
Dearest Freeriders,
Due to rising costs, Freeride has raised the face value of gift cards available for redemption. Effective May 1, 2008, $10 gift cards will no longer be available. Instead we will be offering gift cards in increments of $15 (18,500 tokens),$25 (31,500 tokens) and $50 (55,000 tokens).
Please note: We are not replacing redemptions once they have been sent. Amazon gift certificates can be resent to the same email address that is used for your Freeride Account.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we appreciate your business here at Freeride.
Yours Truly,
The Freeride Team :)
