Jellyfish’s Smack Daddy Pleads for Help

January 30, 2008 · 1 comment

Very noticeably AWOL from Jellyfish‘s Talk’n Smack for two months, Smack Daddy appeared in the daily noontime chat with one lone plaintive request: “help me”. See for yourself here (thanks, drewcp).
The response from the chatters in attendance was simultaneous and unanimous — the Smack wanted their Daddy back.
Mark, Brian, Bill…you’ve got the power. Make it happen. Despite the heroic efforts of many substitute hosts, the Smack isn’t the same without SD. You know it, and we know it. Set the pink-tighted one free!
Sign my petition to that effect here (using your JF screen name, if you would). Thanks.

Looks like Microsoft is really changing Jellyfish for the worst. Hot on the heals of the cancellation of the referral program with the promise they would honor all referrals made up to Jan 4 08 came this delightful note via email;
“As a participant in the Jellyfish Refer A Friend Program, we wanted to let you know that we have updated our Refer A Friend Program Terms. Beginning today, referral fees earned in any calendar year under the Program are subject to an aggregate maximum of $599. We are making this change to limit the amount of tax reporting paperwork you receive from us regarding your participation in the Program. All other Program terms remain the same.
If you’d like to review the full Program Terms, you can do so here. And if you have any questions about this change, please feel free to contact Jellyfish Customer Support. Thanks for your continued support!”
So much for honoring prior agreements!
