Becky Ford holds an MBA from Louisiana State University, and a BA in economics from Southeastern Louisiana University. She became interested in rewards programs after giving up her job in strategic planning to become a stay-at-home mom. CompareRewards.com began as a special interest page on a personal website in 1999, but was spun off into its own dedicated domain in October 2001.
While the site does feature affiliate links, enabling the author to receive some compensation for her efforts, she takes great pride in her personal integrity — reporting the cons as well as the pros for every program reviewed on the site.
