Updated 1/30: BigCoop dropped its Ebay payment to $0.03 per bid.
I’m a little reluctant to post this one after the brouhaha over other programs doing this last year…but… BigCoOp is paying $0.05 per Ebay bid. Read our review of BigCoOp here. PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THIS! Only bid on auctions that you are genuinely interested in winning, at bid amounts that you think could possibly win.

Actually, making many very low bids with the hopes of actually getting the more expensive item for that price is not abuse. While your chances of actually getting the item are very low, there are lots out there of substance that do go for little money. If a rebate/points program is willing to pay points/$ on each bid, then it is foolish not to do so. If they don’t place a restriction on these bids, then you are perfectly and ethically bidding according to the proper rules and it is not abuse. Just because it is used excessively does not make it abuse. It is abuse when it violates the terms of the agreement that the program sets. At least this is my understanding.
