Yesterday, CVS Pharmacy announced that they will be testing out a new program in the Indianapolis area later this summer which will link customers’ credit cards with their existing CVS Extra Care accounts. The new cards will allow customers to swipe just one card (a new Extra Care card) at checkout.
It’s not clear whether customers will receive any additional benefits for using the new card, or what the proposed timeline is for rolling out the new card to other areas of the US.
The press release is available here.
