My friend Rebecca at the Ebates Blog made a great post last week that detailed the standard shipping deadlines for Christmas arrival for 16 popular online merchants. I wanted to supplement it for my readers here. Please note: you can still order online for Christmas delivery after the standard delivery deadline, but it will require additional charges for expedited delivery. Here are the deadlines for STANDARD shipping at some merchants you may be interested in:
Amazon: TODAY is the last day to order with standard shipping by Friday (too late for Free Super Saver Shipping on $25+ orders). Note that no rewards programs reward for Amazon. Your clickthrough to Amazon here
Avon: Order by TODAY at 12:30 ET for standard shipping ($5.95 per order). Earn 5% at Ebates or 5.3% at QuickRewards.net (no reward available at FatWallet or Jellyfish).
Barnes and Noble: TODAY (at midnight, ET) is the deadline for free standard shipping on $25 orders. Barnes and Noble members can take $10 off a $40 purchase with code: A8E4B7U. Earn 5% at FatWallet, 4.1% at QuickRewards.net, 4% at Ebates, or 3.7% at Jellyfish. Note: No rebate paid on video games or other Gamestop items.
BestBuy: Deadline is Tuesday at 11am ET. Earn 2.2% at Jellyfish, 1.1% at QuickRewards.net (on everything but computers, peripherals, photo, and imaging products which pay 0.6%), or 1% at Ebates (no reward at FatWallet). Note: No rebates paid on in-store pickup orders.
Buy.com: Deadline has passed for standard shipping. To help defray the cost of expedited shipping, use Google Checkout to save $10 on a $30 order, or $20 on a $50 order (the minimum order amounts must be met before shipping and taxes are added in). Some items can be ordered with expedited shipping as late as 12/20. Earn 2.2% at Jellyfish, 2.1% at QuickRewards.net, or 1% at FatWallet or Ebates.
DisneyShopping: Deadline is TODAY at 9pm PT (midnight ET) for standard shipping. Save 10% on your order with code: PLUTO10. Earn 4.1% at QuickRewards.net (including rebates on GCs!) or 4% at Ebates (no reward at FatWallet or Jellyfish).
KBToys: Deadline has passed for standard shipping. The latest you can order with expedited shipping is Tuesday at midnight PT (Wed. at 3am ET). New customers can take $5 off a $40 order with code ETNLTR. Earn 4% at FatWallet, 3% at Ebates, or 1.5% at QuickRewards.net (no reward at Jellyfish).
Overstock.com: Standard shipping deadline has passed but they’re offering free expedited shipping on many items. Order as late as 11/20 at 11:59pm MT for Christmas delivery on certain items (some ship free, others require the shipping upgrade fees). There are coupon codes available for 10% off, or 12% off for new customers, but they are affiliate-specific (receive them at the rewards program through which you shop). Earn 6% at FatWallet, 4% at Ebates, or 3.6% (2.3% on media items) at QuickRewards.net (no reward at Jellyfish).
Target: Order by TODAY for standard shipping on items marked “usually ships in 24 hours” or “usually ships in 1-2 days”. If it’s marked “1-2 BUSINESS days” or “3-5 days” the deadline has already passed (although “1-2 BUSINESS days” items can be purchased through today by expedited 1 day shipping). Walmart: Order by Monday, 12/18, for standard shipping. They have a good selection of items that ship for just 97 cents. Order as late as 12/20 at 11:30pm PT with expedited shipping. The only rewards programs that (legally) reward for Walmart purchases are the college savings programs Upromise and LittleGrad, which both pay 5%… or you could shop through the CompareRewards link here and help support the site.
