ParadePerks Redemptions Online Today

April 19, 2006 · 13 comments

Members of the defunct ParadePerks rewards program will be able to redeem their points starting at 4pm ET today for one single prize or drawing entry. Prizes will be completely free, with no shipping and handling costs. Members who emailed Parade with their username and real name were assigned a level, based on the total number of points they had accumulated with the program. (With 7295000 points, I was assigned to Level 4.) The link to visit for the redemptions is here.

Level Four has a pretty broad point range because I was assigned to it, too, with 14,767,500 points. I’m very curious to see what prizes are offered and am impressed they are doing anything at all.

Same here — frustrating since i’m concerned about HOW MANY prizes will be available and clearly it’s first-come, first-serve.

Right there with you. 21 minutes after 4pm and I still get the same message about the rewards being live at 4pm

Just got this email from them.
Dear User,
Thank you for your continued interest in Parade Perks. We apologize for the unforseen delay and inconvenience. While you are now able to browse the rewards catalogue, we are experiencing technical difficulties with the order processing which we hope to have resolved shortly. We are confident that we will have this remedied by tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. You are also welcome to check back periodically before that time as we will make the fully-functional site available as soon as possible.
We apologize for the delay in the order checkout process, but assure you that all rewards will be available for redemption tomorrow morning. There is not a limited supply of points-only, free rewards.
Thank you again for your continued participation in Parade Perks.
Sincerely,
The Parade Perks Team

It seems they have some pretty expensive rewards for level 4. I looked at level 3 and saw a $100 gift certificate. It looks like they are offering some good stuff.

Off course I lost the email paradepoints sent for the redemption. Do we need that to redeem or can we redeem from the website?

I just got the camera! (I think. I can’t believe they went live with the site 12 hours early; wouldn’t surprise me if they cancelled it…)

The email I posted from Paradeperks above says there is NOT a limited supply of points only rewards so everyone hopefully will get what they wanted. I got the camera.

I requested a Movado watch. It was a pretty primative checkout arrangement. I saw the site go active well before the 10 AM EDT that was stated in the previous day’s message.
I think it was a decent save for them. They will be back in the summer, and they have learned from this experience.

I received the Movado watch on yesterday and it is beautiful, the cost of the watch online at Nordstroms is $495, it only took about 5-7 to receive.
