far less than 22 points about 15 to 18 points daily and the new low rewards are not that good…
Milesource has major problems on their site. I have been credited with 1 AwardMile out of 19 after doing all clicks today.
I quit participating at Milesource about six months ago. I could see it was going to take forever to get anything. There games and trivia were fun, but very time-consuming and the payoff was so small. I didn’t hear much about them for awhile and thought maybe they were going out of business, but recently I have seen lots of banners and spam for them.
My partner and I each requested movie ticket redemption of milesource points in December 2001. No movie tickets have been sent, and emails and phone calls remain unanswered.
I have gotten lots of rewards from milesource and only click dailys. But lately I am lucky to get 1-3 points per day after clicking on all ads.
I also cashed in for movie tickets in december 2001 which I never recieved, sent 3 e-mails which were all unanswered. This place stinks….
I too tried cashing in my points for movie tickets and never received them!! I tried e-mailing and still nothing!!
Milesource was okay for the first cashout, then when I got to the second, they said oh your reward was mailed to you. I wrote back and told I never recieved it. I tried 3 or 4 times and either the email was deleted without being read or they just ignored me. So I have been boycotting them for months now .
Milesource claims that you can fill out a new weekly survey and that you can get 2 points per day in answering a trivia question. Bullshit… those offers have been inactive forever, but they continue to advertize them.
Hurray! Something good to say about milesource. Daily clicks are working better and I also recieved a gift certificate that I ordered within 4 DAYS. Isn’t that great? Some things are not working yet, but perhaps someone is working on it. Let’s hope.
Seems that Milesource’s MileBuilder “site-seeing” areas of 7 points and another 6 points are no longer working. As long as that continues, daily points are reduced to 5-7.
Has this been your experience, or do the site-seeing parts still work for you?
Milesource is the best of the reward sites I use. I have belonged to MyPoints, Memolink, Blink, and Milesource since the begining of Jan 2002 and it is Milesource that has paid off best for me. It took about 4 months to build up enough points for my first reward, a $25.00 certificate. I then had to wait about a month to get my certificate in the mail. There can be problems with the site, but it is very rare. Plus I also did not have to spend any of my own money to get my points up to the level for the reward. Pretty good for being free as far as I am concerned.
I’ve been a member for a long time and I’ve gotten quite a few rewards from them. Most recently I cashed in for a Giveanything gc, got it in about 3 weeks and spent it with no problems. The site has been having more than it’s share of technical problems i.e. points not there or not crediting but it’s usually fixed in a day or two. Milesource has been a good program in the long run and I’m staying with them.
I have been waiting since November 14th, 2002 for my gift certificates from Milesource Rewards. They said they sent them out on December the 5th and I never received them. They said I wasn’t getting them because the mail was so slow this time of year. When I emailed them back on December the 20th, I said I was going to put a tracer on the gift certificates and they then replied that the gift certificates were not sent out until that day…THE 20TH!!! They also said if I did not get them by January 7th, to email them and they would put a tracer on them and they would take action with the supplier. I have been emailing Milesoure Rewards since January 7th and I emailed Memberservices at Milesource yesterday..to no avail…they will not respond! I believe this is the beginning of the end for them! Low points, taking forever to get your reward, not responding, dishonesty, constant technical problems at the site…the list goes on and on.
I cashed out on Dec 27 for a $75 certificate for giveanything. To date I have received nothing, and to make matters worse when I checked my redemption page it said I cashed out for travel miles. I emailed them about this, and I called them (customer service was not available) and today I sent them a postal mail about this.
A $75 certificate costs 9,000, and there is no 9,000 category for vacation miles. So where did my 9,000 points go?
June
What’s with Milesource? Still hasn’t sent me my Block Buster prize, and it’s been three months.
And annoyingly, no one seems to reply to my e-mails of inquiry.
Any of you know anything about this outfit’s practices?
3/13/03 I redeemed points with milesource for two tickets back on Dec. 6, 2001. I never got them. I emailed milesource several times. I got a response a couple of times. They didn’t respond to all my emails though I sent them to the same address. I’ve tried several times to get my movie tickets but still don’t have them though they still offer the same reward on their site. I’m really annoyed.
This is the last email I received back on June 21, 2002 from them —
COPIED EMAIL FROM MILESOURCE BELOW—-
Hello,
Thanks for your email. We sincerely apologize for the delay. At this time,
after tracking your redemption order
with our redemption partner, we are unable to check the exact date of the
delivery of your movie tickets redeemed
through Milesource.com.
We will email you once we receive word from our redemption partners regarding
the status of your movie tickets.
Until then, we would sincerely appreciate your patience while both companies can
remedy this matter.
Thank you for your interest in Milesource.com.
Regards,
Mike

Well Mike of Milesource, I never got my tickets. Don’t waste your time trying to earn points.

This is my 2nd favorite site (MyPoints is first). Even though I average 18-25 points per day, they are easy and free points. My last cashout took a little longer (I always get Barnes & Noble Web Certificates), but I believe Milesource is reliable.
Milesource will normally take at least six months or more (I know of one person who redeemed 7/01 and still hasn’t gotten the GC yet). If you can stick it out, there is hope that you might get your reward before you die. Oh, you always get a canned response from customer service after about a week….same message every time.
I have never been able to successfully complete the daily office quiz… it always tells me that I’ve already completed it and to come back tomorrow. Tech support has been no help other than to say they will look into it. Has this feature been disabled completely?
i also ordered blockbuster rentals back in septmber and still nothing i cant believe this my aunt always gets her stuff and me nothing
This is one of the best rewards sites that I have dealt with. I have cashed out numerous times and received my GCs in about 3 weeks with no problems. They have some technical problems, but they are usually fixed quickly.
I cashed in over 11,000 in January of 2003 and was promised my “reward” within three week. It’s been over three months and my letters are unanswered or ignored.
Two thumbs down.
i went to a site called mouthwideshut and found this info. don’t know if it is still current but thought i’d pass it on

i wrote them once and did get 2,500 miles back
I cashed in for 3 blockbuster vouchers in Sept. 2002. After checking my account in Dec., it stated that the award miles were used for “movie club online”. This is a blockbuster site that you have to pay to join. NO WAY! I emailed them and received a response that I would have my vouchers in 2 weeks. It is now May and has been 7 months with nothing. I emailed them back their original email showing my cashout for the vouchers yesterday, to which I added to please cancel my account. They want people to patronize their site and could care less when it comes to redemptions.
I work real hard and never get musch clearance crazy is the best place 4 free stuff
I’ve been having trouble getting milesource to reply to my emails, but I cashed in for a twenty five dollar super certificate recently and recieved it in less than two weeks.
That said, for the last two or three days I haven’t been able to get points for clicking. The little blue bar at the top (award miles credited) goes up to 100% and stays there. I did refer someone to the club at about the same time, though, and we both use the site from the same computer (different email addresses). If anyone else knows anything about this, I would appreciate your imput.
Milesource offers about 23 free points daily. However, trivia has been down for two weeks straight and the games have been down for a whole week.
I’ve become disillusioned with Milesource also. I have gotten most of my cashed in awards but for the last 3 months I’ve been waiting for 11,000 miles worth of gift certificates. I haven’t given up on them yet, but it things don’t change soon 1 more customer bites the dust.
hi…it’s been almost 2 years since i ordered movie tickets & i haven’t received a thing from milesource. does anyone have a contact name & number to call to possibly move things along? thanks.
anyone else having trouble with re-connecting with parts of the “new” Milesource that no longer gives 2 points for the “Daily Fix” — 7-mile beach is esp. frustrating.
to many beers here – have not received anything
I can’t believe the huge jump in AwardMiles needed to redeem for GCs. For example, the mile requirement for a $50.00 Canadian Blockbuster Gift Certificate jumped from 5500 to 9000 in one shot. That’s a 64% increase. Leads me to believe that maybe Milesource is in trouble financially. Also, the wait for GC redemptions is ridiculous. It takes well over 3 months and you have to contact Customer Service (that’s a joke) to get them at all. This kind of thing makes it hard to get referrals to stick with the program for any length of time.
The Milesource games have been “being fixed” for must be close to a year now. You could put a man on the moon faster. If they aren’t coming back, why not just say so. I can’t believe it takes that long. Seems to me that they were working fine prior to going off the air anyway. What gives Milesource? Come clean.
MILESOURCE WAS SUPOSED TO SEND ME A $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE IN JUNE 2003 AND I HAVE YET TO SEE IT OR MY 15,000 POINTS THAT THEY DEDUCTED FROM MY ACOUNT. IT IS NOW JANUARY 2004. I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEM FOR THE PAST YEAR.
I redeemed my first $25CAD GC in Mid-November 2003 and got it in the beginning of January 2004,,, but now a $25CAD GC cost 5000 which is nearly the cost of a $50CAD last year,,,,
You need to recheck out Milesource awards; a $25.00 Chili’s gift certificate is now 11,000 points, a $50.00 WalMart gift certificate now takes 21,000 points to redeem for.
Milesource has now gone the way of most online reward programs:
THEY HAVE SCREWED THEIR MEMBERS.
I spent a couple years building a considerable referral base – just recently they decided not to credit referral clicks to recommending members accounts.
I was 1,000 miles away from a plane ticket about a month ago.
Now my points are worth a cheap am/fm radio.
SCREW THEM.
Highly NOT recommended.
As a matter of fact – Unless you are turbo fast on any of these programs – about the time when you are going to be rewarded for your efforts, they will change the reward structure.
They exist on the principle that most people won’t reach reward levels – and when the mass of people who do stick with the program DO reach reward level, they will change the reward level.
Moral:
SCREW ADVERTISERS and REWARD programs.
If you are a person who only does the free clicks and averages 100 points a week ( most of us don’t do every click every night) then it will take you 2 years to get a $25 prize. Then it will take you another 5 months to receive it.( this is provided they don’t raise the minimums again) I think there is something wrong with that picture.
I got a CD from them once. I used my signup 1000 miles and a few e-mmails and then unsubscribed from everything. It was too bothersome to keep going. The Cd arrived really fast – a few weeks tops.
This is the worst reward program (worst than Memolink). I’ve joined them for 3 years and it took FOREVER to obtain the points and reward. DON’T JOIN THIS PROGRAM! IT WILL WASTE YOUR TIME!
Milesource is worthless as far as I’m concerned…I’ve been a member for about 2 years, and at first they’d send emails advertising points offers (like most of the other accumulative rewards sites). I wasn’t that serious up till about a year ago, and then started trying to to all the daily clicks at their site (by then they’d pretty much discontinued their offers to earn money–other than the shopping-point offers), but I figured it wouldn’t cost anything to do the daily clicks. Finally I gave up! I’m on dial-up slow-speed, and their site moved SO slow, that it’d take about 30 mins (I’d usually be multi-tasking at same time) to do all the daily points….so you’d need to do this daily for a year or so to get the $25 gift card (like someone else here mentioned)!
I’ve always intended to go back because I’ve got plenty of time stored up points there already, but seems so worthless! I agree…they are not worth the time whatsoever!
I tried to redeem 22000 AwardMiles in May. After waiting until September with nothing, I finally got them to reinstate my AwardMiles and I tried again. This time, it took until December, but I finally did get the $25 SuperCertificate. Needless to say, I cancelled my account.
Milesource is a horrible website – unreliable – never have gotten rewards. They like to
say your account activity doesn’t merit rewards after you’ve earned enough miles and redeemed the miles. Or they put you off for ‘years’. I will never waste my time on them again! Neither will
many of my friends.
I have been waiting for a year for a $25. gift
certificate. When I have emailed, they won’t respond. I am very disappointed in a website like theirs. Is there a BBB for rip off websites?
Thank you
I found a glitche in their system 4 years ago and was able to accumulate 200,000 points overnight…unfortunately they caught it and deleted my account…so I had to start over again…I wish they would have communicated their error and subtracted the points instead of treating me like a criminal and simply deleting my account….I had accumulated quite a few points through the daily click ads at that point…
I really like this site today though. It takes a while to accumulate points through ‘clicking’ but I’ve had no problems redeeming my points for rewards. The rewards aren’t as nice as they were 4 years ago. It takes longer to accumulate than before but I really like this site.
I have sent messages twice to customer service in the last three days. What has been happening to me is that their website is moving very slow and I am lucky to access any of their links. I thought there might be something wrong with my computers at home however, the same thing is happening at work.
This morning i tried to access my account and found none of my points!!!! They were all eliminated!!! There is something major going on and I am not happy with it since I have been a member for many years. We’ll see if they answer my messages to get their website fixed.
