Other Sites Like Superpoints

It seems that people did not like Superpoints’ announcement that they’re charging more points for prizes and that they’re limiting “earning with your friends,” one of the site’s big selling points.  The Superpoints Facebook page is filled with angry members saying they are canceling their accounts.  I noticed that my member rank, based on the number of friends I’ve referred, and the friends THEY have referred, 5 levels deep, fell from a steady 96 to 104 within two days.  People are definitely bailing.

So if you’re looking for alternatives to Superpoints, here are my suggestions:

iRazoo – Earn points randomly for using their search engine, watching videos, completing surveys, offers, and tasks, or playing games.  They also give away special points codes on their Facebook account.  Earn when your friends earn, up to a maximum of 3,000 points ($5) per friend.  Cash out your points for gift cards to Amazon, Home Depot, CVS, Groupon, and more.

Swagbucks
– Earn Swagbucks randomly while searching, or by watching videos, completing surveys and other offers, answering polls, or by special codes they give out.  450 points = a $5 Amazon GC, but other redemptions are available.  Even if surveys aren’t your thing, you can probably cash out once a week for a $5 redemption.  Earn when your friends earn, up to a cap.

QuickRewards.net
– Earn cash for searching, attempting surveys, completing surveys (MANY available), completing tasks or offers on the same offerwalls as Superpoints, visiting websites, playing trivia, printing and using coupons, and cash back if you shop online.  NO minimum to cash out to PayPal, which is paid out usually nightly and you can cash out as often as you’d like.  You can choose emailed or snail-mailed gift cards instead if you’d prefer, mailed out weekly.

MyPoints – Earn points redeemable for gift cards for searching, answering questionnaires and surveys, reading emails/visiting websites, and shopping online.  Not a fly-by-night program, MyPoints has been in business for over 10 years, and their points cost for the different gift cards stays pretty constant.  Redemptions start at 1,600 points for a $10 gift card or 1,500 points for 75 Facebook credits.

4Loot – The only redemption here is for Facebook credits, but if you play a lot of FB games this may work for you.  It’s different, it’s quirky, and it’s fun:  earn coins redeemable for FB credit when you search (awarded randomly), watch videos, complete surveys, or play various daily games.  Get a random bonus when you use their site to search five days in a row.  Win when your friends win (up to 500 coins).  The minimum to cash out is 65 coins, for 2 FB credits.  You should be able to earn this within about a week.

And what about GiftHulk? What’s your opinion of them?

Hi, Ellen! By the time I had heard of GiftHulk, they had already made some adjustments to point value, so I was leery of joining them. (Sad to say but my experience with points programs is that, in general, once they’ve hit that phase they’re on the way out.)

If you’re a member, please mail me your referral link and let’s talk privately about your experience with them: I’m info (at) comparerewards (dot) com. Thanks for the comment!

I have been a member of GiftHulk since November 2010 and have found them to be very reliable. True, they have gone through some big changes in the past few months, but I believe they have been for the better. To me, they gotten a lot of unfair criticism while the changes were happening.

They have always answered my questions fast. And they payout weekly on Sundays. Very few sites can say that!! They have gift cards like Amazon, PayPal, Zynga, Facebook, Club Penguin, Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Hut, and eBay, just to name a few. 439 Hulk Coins will get you a $5 Amazon Gift Card.

They have a toolbar that you can win Hulk Coins searching with and every day you earn daily keys that you use on a treasure chest for random “goodies”. You also earn coins to purchase Gift Cards by completing tasks, offers and watching videos.

To me it is fun, just try it out, what do you have to lose? :-)

I have a referral link if you are interested… but i don’t like to spam people.

I would also suggest Irazoo. They are actually very close to Swagbucks. I’ve cashed out there several times and it’s a good site.

Hi, Anna! I’m a long-time member of iRazoo, and I mean from WAY back — they had gone dormant for a while, but they have come back in a way that surprised me. (Then again, Superpoints was hot, went down for a while, came back up with new ownership just kicking butt like gangbusters and then last week… well, we know what happened there.)

I had a bunch of referrals to them from their initial phase and totally forgot about them until a few weeks ago, only to find that I had enough points from referrals to cash out. And they did pay me right away (within a day or two maybe?).

I keep forgetting about them, though, and I agree, they do deserve a mention in this post as a great potential substitute for Superpoints. I’ll edit the post to add them now. Thank you for the suggestion!
