Minimum to Cash Out: 12,000 and up for $10 GCs, 12,500 for Virtual Visas. Cheapest redemption is 10,000 (magnets).
Cash Out For: Gift cards including Amazon, Virtual Visas, magazine subscriptions, magnets, Freeride t-shirt, music downloads.
Earn For: Shopping, signups, clicking the Grab-a-Cab, website visits, watching movie trailers, surveys, referrals.
Limit One Account Per: U.S. resident 13 years or older (under 18 requires parental permission), only one acct allowed per household
Dollar Value of a Point: $0.000926 for Overstock, $0.000893 for Amazon or Virtual Visa, $0.000862 for other GCs
Daily “Free” Points: Varies drastically; many points can be earned through the Ifilm link but it’s very time-consuming.

5 Points Per Dollar = 0.46%

Notes:
1. Get 500 points for joining.
2. Get one point the first time you visit a merchant through FreeRide; repeat visits are not paid.
3. Have received reports that 4-6 weeks is a typical wait once a GC has been requested; magazines take 8-12 weeks.
4. 90 days of inactivity may zero out your points balance. Points expire if not spent within 2 years of becoming “available.”
5. Shopping credit discrepancies not disputed within 90 days will not be investigated. Missing redemptions will not be investigated if claim is filed over 180 days afterward.
6. Program is notorious for ignoring member support requests.

Has anyone else had a problem with FreeRide often times not showing up when you click to visit the FreeRide website?
I lost about $30 worth of pts when Freeride went bankrupt a few years back… that said, you can usually get about 550 free point/day currently just by clicking on an advertiser link. You get 4 points per click-through, so it can take a while, but the dollar amount of totally free points you can get is decent (about 52 cents by your estimate).
I am so confused when you go to hot jobs do you put in the search “find dream job” and also do you sign in with yahoo? I clicked on over 300 and didn’t get a point.
how do i get my rewards i cant seem to find out what they are
Uhm, the Amazon $25 GC is 28000 points now, that makes each “$25 Amazon” point worth a mere $0.000893 (rounded).
On the other hand, for 26500 points, you can get a $25 Red Lobster or Olive Garden Gift Card – those points would be worth more – $0.000943 (rounded).
Sheesh they made their points hard to figure out compared to other sites (Creations Rewards is an easy $0.005 per point!) Seems like they do this on purpose.

alot of money and i sure as heck don’t want to
signup and have to paid for offers which is
the only to get points, etc quickly.
about this holiday contest they have put up, is this just stacking up the points or u r qualified only if u shop? i dont see any were that u qualify only if u shop, it simply says that earn more points by shoping. now it is about 1560 points per day, if it is just points stacking than i guess it will work fine.
The best part of freeride is that i don’t have to buy anything. I just preview trailers, which i would do anyway.
i have e-mailed freeride 5 times to get my reward and they won’t even answer me back. i have try to get my reward for over 3 months to no avail.
freeride has changed for the better.

Is anyone else having trouble getting their points from FreeRide? I completed two offers that the points aren’t showing in my account for – not even as pending. I complaned, got a response that they would fix it, but ten more days have gone by an still I don’t have my points! Is this happening to anybody else?
I earned a WalMart gift card from Freeride , applied for it in Oct. 2011 and never received it. I am disgusted with them. They keep saying they send rewards on the first and middle of the month, but not mine. We dont like it very much Sharron
Im not getting my earnings from freeride.com. They owe me 2 -$15.00 gift certificates from Walmart and A 25.00 one from Olive garden.
They wont answer back either
I cashed out for a Walmart card in November. Nothing yet. I did receive an email from them about 4 weeks ago saying they would be mailed in 2 weeks, but that isn’t looking promising either. I have cashed out 3 times previously with no problems. Very disappointed.
HUH, I BOTHER THEM everyday that i dont recieve my gift certificates. I will continue to do soand will eventually threaten fraud and false advertisement.
I have had issues with freeride.com also, way back from Jun 2011 that still has not been resolved! Has anyone looked into the Better Business Bureau? I think that if multiple complaints are made against them then there would be a better chance of getting this issue fixed.
What you have to do is keep taking there surveys and keep emailing them every day with a complaint that u haven’t recieved your reward . Remind them that you have been on the SCAM PAGE FOR FREERIDE.
I finally recieved mine from last Oct. 20.
This site sucks. It used to be good during the late 90′s There was a lot of ways to earn points fast. You could easily get one decent prize a week. Then they changed the format that is now where it takes forever to earn enough. Other great sites at the time were firstlook.com and memolink.com which now stink. Dont know how they are still around. Even mypoints.com which is finally back to being okay, was much better back at the time.
FREERIDE OWES ME A $50.00 GIFT CARD TO Walmart. I emailed them after not receiving it in the mail after about 5 weeks of waiting. They emailed me back saying they were looking into it and would get back to me in less than two days. They DID NOT! I have tried emailing them several times since then and they always come back undeliverable. I am going to contact their customer service again and complain. I will also be threatening that if I don’t get my gift card promptly I am telling everyone I know that their website is a SCAM and I will be contacting the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU as well. It took me about 10 Years to accumulate enough points to cash out for a measly $50.00 gift card not to mention all the time it took (hours upon hours of filling out stupid surveys etc, etc) WASTED for NOTHING. This site really and truely SUCKS! Don’t waste your time. There are much better websites like theirs out there that do pay and you don’t have to through all B.S. and rigamarole that FREERIDE makes you go through.
I requested my olive garden 50.00 card on 8/23/12 and still havent received a card or a response to my emails. just an automated “you’ll hear from us within 2 business days or sooner.” Yea,right! Guess I’ll just stick with Mypoints, I’ve never had a problem with them.
I wonder if FreeRide is going out of business…I have not been able to get into the site for two days now and today I was given this message several times even with the correct username/password combo used:
“The email address you have entered was not found.
Please reenter your email address and password.”
Just recently as well, the myproducer.tv link stopped appearing…oh well, it was tedious to watch a minimum 30 seconds each of Cuba Gooding Jr. in a 2007 interview promote the movie “Daddy Day Camp” 50 times per day, day after day after day (nothing fresh)! If FreeRide comes back up and returns business as usual (along with Cuba and his “Daddy Day Camp” plugs), I will be shocked!
Don’t hold your breath. I have been waiting over a year to get my $15 Visa or Walmart Card. They sent me an email last year saying they were having trouble sourcing a Visa vendor but I should get my reward soon. I waited and waited and waited. After several months of radio silence I sent an email back to the employee who emailed me about the delay. I requested that my reward be made a Walmart Gift Card if that would speed up the process. Again…radio silence.
Like KDM and Terri I am really disappointed. We all know it takes FOREVER to earn enough pts for a reward thru their site and after all that time…it is just a waste. I am all for reporting them.
IPSOS and eRewards are much more reliable. I have earned several rewards from them and they don’t leave you hanging!
I to cashed out for 15.00 walmart card 09/28/12 6 months and still waiting. Ni answer to my e mails to them.
I ordered a $50 gift card for Target in November and I still haven’t received it. That’s 55,000 points lost because of their terrible handling. I’ve wrote them three times and find they have stopped sending me emails. They send out that same email they’re checking into it and then nothing. I’ve never had any trouble with them until now. Guess they don’t need me anymore. Oh well.
What’s with the FreeRide Survey Site? They said there was going to be an all new FreeRide. When you try to access their site it says so many days and hours. Every time it counts down to the last day they add on more days. I am wondering if our points we had acquired have gone down the drain. Would appreciate any information anyone might have on this matter.
I have been a member for quite some time for freeride and I had been getting my rewards. I hadn’ received any emails from them in a month. I kept emailing them but nothing no response from them. I did notice on the site itself it said new coming soon. Well, apparently the new site you lose all your points that you had accumulated so far. I have made numerous attempts to try and contact them but no response.
I will not be joining the new FreeRide. I’ve been a member of the old one and had a number of issues redeeming rewards. And now they rob me of all my tokens?!
If you have been a member you know they suck; if you are new to it I highly recommend you stay away and save yourself the aggrevation of being cheated. Go to MyPoints. It’s reliable.
Free Ride has turned scam, fraudulent bait and switching and deletion of points with no communication.
