Ebates.com‘s Daily Double today is 52% cash back from ValueMags! This is one of my favorite promos they run because you will end up with fantastic prices on magazine subscriptions, and these are great for gifts, too.
Want to make sure you’re still getting the best deal, factoring in cash back? Open a separate window to MagazinePriceSearch.com and search for the title you’re considering ordering. It will tell you the lowest price at other magazine discounters factoring in available coupons (though not factoring in cash back).
Here’s an example:
- ValueMags has a year (12 issues) of Redbook for $10. After 52% cashback, you’ll pay $4.80.
- Go to MagazinePriceSearch and look up Redbook. Their cheapest price is $7.99 at DiscountMags, or $6.71 after a coupon code. (NEVER use these coupon codes on a cash back site because they will void cash back. The cashback site may have a similarly valued code, though.)
- Ideally, you’ll want to check your favorite cashback sites to see what rate they offer on DiscountMags and whether they have a similar coupon.
…but if you’re lazy like me, just use this as a ballpark estimate of whether or not this is a good deal. In this case, it is.
