Cash Back for eBay Purchases is Back!

December 11, 2011 · 1 comment

“Where can I get cash back for eBay?”  For the last few months, the answer was “nowhere” because of Ebay’s decision to dump cashback sites,  but apparently one rewards program was able to get back into eBay’s good graces.  That’s right, we can once again earn cashback for Ebay, courtesy of Ebates!

It’s at a 1% cash back rate, half of what some sites were paying for it before, but for shoppers who do a good bit of shopping through eBay, every little bit adds up.

I checked their competitors, and at this point eBay cashback is not yet back on FatWallet, MrRebates, MyPoints, ShopAtHome, or Upromise.  I have no idea how Ebates pulled off this exclusive deal, but it’s quite a score, particularly with all of the holiday shopping going on now (see my post about tomorrow’s Green Monday cashback increases at Ebates).

Does Ebates really pay?  Here’s payment proof.

What an outstanding post, thank you so much for rising this acute
issue. Being profoundly assured that plenty of people would share your
perspectives, and I showed your writing into a friend of
mine. And that is when the arguments started… We’ve got different views but, of course, no matter, be
it only something routine or genuinely important, should ruin a true
friendship. In my humble view, which surely has the right to exist, the very point you have made
cannot be contested.
