It was announced this evening that the Memolink rewards program has been sold, as ad company Matomy Media Group agreed to acquire Memolink’s parent company Adperio for $30 million. The final price may actually go up, depending on Adperio’s performance over the next four years.
Adperio employs a staff of 50. Memolink founder David Asseoff will stay on as an employee. (Well played, David. Well played.)
Matomy, headquartered in Israel, has 200 employees. Their intent in purchasing Adperio was to increase their presence in the US market. They currently have offices in Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, and Brazil.
