Putting it All Together…a Unique Strategy by Extrabux – Contest Inside!

October 20, 2010 · 28 comments

The only lowest price finder that factors in coupon codes, shipping, tax, and cashback? Read on!

If you talk to the average person about the benefits of shopping online, they’ll say, “Coupon codes!” And while coupon codes will reduce an item’s price, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting the best deal:

  • The store with the coupon code may have a higher price.
  • It may charge a lot for shipping.
  • It may charge sales tax.
  • It may not offer cashback.

All of these things have to be factored in when looking for the best deal.

There are some great product price comparison websites like PriceGrabber and Shopzilla that put together part of the puzzle: they allow you to enter the product you want to buy and your zipcode, then they provide prices by store including shipping and tax. But they don’t offer cashback or calculate in any savings from coupon codes, two important factors to take into consideration.

Extrabux
is the only website that puts together all the pieces at once.

Enter the product you want to buy and your zipcode, and Extrabux will calculate the total cost for the item, taking into account any available coupon codes, their cashback rates for the merchant, tax applicable to residents of your zipcode, and shipping rate.

To illustrate, here’s what PriceGrabber displays as the best deal on Dolce & Gabbana “Light Blue” Men’s 4.2 oz Spray: $65.94.

But Extrabux is able to find a better deal, $53.64, saving you over twelve bucks!

If you prefer the more traditional, “shop by store name” cashback shopping experience, Extrabux can provide that as well, with an alphabetized merchant list and coupon codes provided.

For some, the thrill of the hunt is what they enjoy about shopping. But if you know what you want, and you don’t have time to waste, you’ll get the best deal, taking everything into consideration, when you shop through Extrabux.com.

Fave is probably Amazon. Though there really aren’t any cash back options, it is so competitive and comprehensive that it is hard to beat.
