If you’re a member of Swagbucks, you may have noticed that the site has been down occasionally for the past day or two. They assure members, via their blog (which has not been affected by the outages), that this is a technical problem they are working to resolve by tomorrow, and that they are not going anywhere.
In the meantime, members are reporting on Swagbucks’ Facebook that when the site is up, they are winning more frequently — an unannounced “thank you for your patience” from the SB staff. I confirmed this myself, winning 9 SB twice out of 5 or 6 searches within a 10 minute period.
At first I was concerned that this was a glitch they would try to get out of honoring, but SwagBucks says on their latest blog post, “TSG’s seen that you guys are winning, which is great…your accounts are fine, your Swag Bucks are safe and sound…Thanks for being patient and awesome.” (TSG is short for The Swag Guy, the site’s head honcho.)
So — if you’re a Swagbucks member already, remember to use their site to do the searches you’d normally do on Google PARTICULARLY today… and if you’re not a member of Swagbucks yet, today’s a great day to sign up and take advantage of the increased odds of winning Swagbucks!
