SuperPoints Down For Good?

April 23, 2010 · 1 comment

Update, 6/8: SuperPoints now promises a return soon after 7/4.
Update, 5/5: SuperPoints’ site now promises a return on 5/31.
Update, 4/23 @ 9:15pm: SuperPoints’ owner tells me in email that the site IS due to return on or around 5/10 and that members can expect an improved user experience with stronger fraud prevention measures in place.

SuperPoints.com (aka LuckySearch aka RewardLadder aka RewardShopping) is down, and has been for as long as a couple of weeks, according to one loyal member. Google’s last cache of the SuperPoints page was on April 3rd, about three weeks ago. There have been no updates to their Twitter account or their Facebook page since February. I’ve emailed the owner and am awaiting a response on when, if ever, the site will return.
Back in January, I advised folks to avoid SuperPoints due to some of the changes made to the program. I urged the owner to reconsider these changes, both in my post and in a phone call which ended with “agreeing to disagree.” It’s my hope that the site is down only temporarily for some type of revamp. I’ll update this with more information as it becomes available.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for sites similar to LuckySearch / SuperPoints, you may like SwagBucks, Blingo, and iRazoo.
